Several group programs are currently in the planning stages.
They are scheduled to begin after my parental leave ends in 2027. A group will be formed as soon as enough participants have signed up. If you’re interested, please feel free to contact me. I will add you to the waiting list and let you know as soon as the program starts.
What types of groups are provided?
-
Transdiagnostic group (in German): Here, people with different concerns and diagnoses work together. This diversity is the group’s strength. You bring in what is on your mind. The group works with you on these issues, and everyone takes something away from it. This group format will also be offered as an online group.
-
Transdiagnostic group in English: The same approach, but in English. For people who prefer to discuss their issues in English. Whether because it is their first language or because English comes more easily to them than German. This group format will also be offered as an online group.
-
Group for crises relating to pregnancy and childbirth (in German): Pregnancy, childbirth and the postnatal period can bring experiences that are extremely distressing. Such issues may include bereavement, a birth experienced as traumatic, feelings of inadequacy in one’s new role, anxieties, compulsions, postnatal depression or many other challenges. This group is open to anyone experiencing such difficulties, including partners. The group meets exclusively online.
I also provide group therapy, drawing on my expertise in systemic group psychotherapy and informed by scientific evidence. Across a wide range of conditions, group therapy is just as effective as individual therapy.
What is the group therapy process?
Initial Consultation

An initial one-to-one session to get to know one another. An initial assessment of your concerns and an evaluation of whether a group setting is suitable for you.
(Probationary Period)

Depending on the individual case and the planned group format, further probatory sessions may take place on a one-to-one basis.
Group
Therapy

Joint resource- and solution-focused work within a group, in which you contribute your concerns whilst also being part of the process for others.
How does group therapy work?
-
A group session lasts 100 minutes
-
The dates are fixed
-
The composition of the group remains largely stable
-
As part of basic group psychotherapy services, you can attend up to four sessions without needing to submit a claim to your health insurance provider
What are the costs?
As a practice with "Kassenärztliche Zulassung", I can bill all health insurance funds (alle Krankenkassen).
Statutory health insurance
(Gesetzliche Krankenversicherung)
Statutory health insurance funds cover the costs of group psychotherapy. Please bring your health insurance card with you.
